How to spot bad career advice

from CBS News, MoneyWatch

A recent Forbes article makes what I think is a very astute observation: “The best proof of an expensive college education’s value may be whether it provides graduates with the critical thinking skills to spot all the bum advice hurled their way as they head off into the world.”

Read the CBS article here (but it's much more fun to go to the original from Forbes and see how the advice to Americans differs from the way in which we more restrained Brits would phrase some of the advice).
