Unwanted and Unplanned Late Career Change Hitting Over-55s

The latest Real Retirement Report from the insurer, Aviva, reveals that two in five (39 per cent) of people they surveyed aged 55 and over have seen significant, often unwanted and unplanned, changes to their careers in the ten years between their 55th and 65th birthdays. One in seven (15 per cent) reported being made redundant, 11 per cent were forced to stop work due to illness and 11 per cent were forced into early retirement.

I found The Real Retirement Report (Issue 6 (June 2011)) via Google BUT only four of the 12 pages actually showed in Foxit Reader and the Aviva website only has up to Issue 5 (typical).

You will find a bit more information on the TAEN press notice where I found the original notification.
