Savage cuts to careers service …

put young people’s futures at risk – survey findings

Devastating cuts to the careers service in England are putting the futures of young people at risk, says a report entitled Uncertain futures by the Institute of Career Guidance (to be published at the end of June). Based on a survey of members, it shows not only the extent of redundancies within the careers service, but also the impact this is having on the provision of essential careers guidance to young people at a critical time in their lives.

I picked up a number of pre-publication press releases about this survey but have not been able to find a link to the published document – yet!
The best I found was in this press release which indicates that it will be available this week but the link does not go to ICG website.
